This was better than expected.  I completed five 1/2 mile repeats with an average time less than 3:29, comfortably under 7:00 minute mile pace.  I walked/jogged 1/4 mile between each rep.  With a mile warm and a bit less than a mile cool down I picked up another 5 total for the first week of the new year.

    you better be careful or you’re going to overtrain ;o)
    no worries, i was not trying to be a stud on saturday, i really didn’t feel it other than a little muscle tightness. it’s gotten worse in the days after which is weird. also, it’s no problem to sit, it’s when i move around that it hurts so it might just be a very deep muscle bruise. hoping it eases up in the next few days cause i’m not sure there’s anything that can be done about it.

    i’m probably a no go this weekend because ty is headed to whistler with catherine and i might take the other 2 to suncadia for a mini-break. i’ll let you know if i end up staying home and secure child care.
