Wind Storm was my excuse today…

… to go to the gym instead of run outside.  The wind storm knocked out power and phones in the neighborhood effecting 5 schools. 

While at the gym my meeting for Thursday in Omaha NE was rescheduled for a couple weeks from now so it looks like I will have a work week not living out of a suitcase.  I won’t know what to with myself actually sleeping in my own bed for 7 days straight.  Luckily I am too old to get pregnant :)

Monday Grind

Fell apart yesterday and hid in my house and did my favorite stress relieving activity … vacuuming.  Lucky I have a fairy large house and it takes with many rooms on different levels so it takes quite an effort to get ot done.  Doesn’t make up for missing an opportunity for real miles so today was important to put at least a decent effort in.

I have tailored my goals for the WS100 to better represent my current life responsibilities.  Work is overwhelming and I am on the road several days a week, which conflicts with the desire to run sub 24 hour 100 mile race.  I plan to finish the race but may take every last minute in the 30 hour cutoff.
