Work work working out

I am getting my workouts in by standing for long periods of time in the OR while training techs and nurses on new equipment. I am also logging adding upper body work by vacuuming. Can’t really add any significant real workouts since I was taken out of my routine with travel for, yes you guessed it, work. No worries, I really am adding little muscle movements in everything I do to feel better about not putting actual road miles in! Still way ahead of last year.

I hate it when work messes up my running schedule. I think we should have a two day work week, and a 5 day weekend, with the same pay. How can we make that happen? I would vote for the candidate with that on their platform? Heck maybe I’ll run for president, as I said I’m full of hot air. LOL I might be good at it.

It’s good to do a little extra to compensate for being out of routine. I know what you mean when you travel, the hotel gym is just not the place to put in the effort, even when you do, the timing is all wrong. It’s important to think about the workout and keep the mind on track to make up for the body later.
