Not running

Okay still not running after car accident. Not happy about this in the least. Did have a massage and it seemed to help. I had to drive over to Prosser, WA yesterday 3 and half hours each way. Then I was delayed 6 hours as the Operating Room schedule was played with all day. I left my house at 4:00am and didn’t finish with the doctor until 3 pm. Believe me there is NOTHING to do in Prosser WA!! I was also working for “free” yesterday as this case was a revision of a poorly placed stent (I will not name the Doctor, he is new to this procedure andtechnique). My income comes from selling the implant and we were simply readjusting placement of the exsisting one.
My back was killing me last night after the drive home so no running, several people who love me have said I should see a doctor, but I have resisted. I am at least thankful that the patient should enjoy a much better outcome now and that’s always a great feeling and a well spent day, even if it was 15 hours.

michelle, you should see a dr. even if just to establish injuries from the accident. that way, if things get worse in the next couple of months you can tie it back to the accident as opposed to it being a “new injury.”
take care, a

I agree with Andrea. At least get checked out so you know what you’re dealing with and establish what happened where. I fell off my horse two years ago and felt “good enough”. A few weeks later I had some pretty serious neck pain and numbness in my fingers. I could never tell if it had originated from the fall, or if I was doing something else to myself. Had I gone right away, I probably would have saved myself the agony and delay in my training. Anywho, I’ll step off my soapbox. Take care and I hope you feel better soon!
