My father unexpectedly passed away Tuesday 1-15-08. Since this is a running blog, I have not posted any workouts as I have not run a step. I don’t even want to run. Maybe tomorrow.

I have been running since I was a teenager, so more than 25 years. I ran in high school, college, & before and after having my two daughters. I love to hit the track for repeats and the mountains for long runs. I have run 3 marathons, a 50k trail race and two 50 mile ultras. I am currently training for the Western States 100.

Michelle, I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. My heart and thoughts are with you. I wish you the ‘nest’ that Brad spoke of… Though it began as a typo, I offer it as the image of a nest, a warm home where you can grieve, where people love you, and where you can be taken care.
