Morning Run
December 12th, 2007 , 5:15 am by Michelle Halsne
Did I mention I don’t like to run in the morning? I’d rather be sleeping or even in my office working, I have never been a morning runner. I think it goes way back to my high school cross country days, working out at 3:00 in the afternoon was perfect. To this day I always seem to have the most energy mid afternoon, so this is when I would love to run. However, there this little priority call earning money for the mortgage!
Nice run today despite the the early hour. Will need to stretch a bit throughout the day and tonight, right hip flexer funky about 45 minutes into the run. Not to worry just making note of it.
Workout:
- Type: Run
- Date: 12/12/2007
- Time: 05:15:00
- Total Time: 00:57:59.00
- Distance: 7.2 miles
- Average Pace: 8:03.22/mile

Good for you. I’m not so great at morning workouts. Saturdays I make it to a morning yoga class, and I tend to struggle in that class more than in the same level class on Monday or Thursday evening. I will admit, I feel great all day Saturday after the class.
Hope your hip de-funks asap!

yes we are a strange breed, us morning folk. the year i got out of colleage i started getting up @ 3:30 in the morning to work on art before i started my landscaping job at 8:00. most of my best ideas come in the morning after im properly awake. back then it was the deadly combo of mountain dew & highpowered black coffee! (wake & shake) today i fire up my walkinng sticks and hit the road around 5:00. much better way to start the day. ( without the 12:00 noon crash from the caffeen comedown)
