Mt. Si

July 15th, 2007 , 12:00 pm by Michelle Halsne

Up and down Mt Si today.  Mostly a power walk up, some jaunts in between, took me 1:09 to get up.  Controlled tempo down, rolled my left foot once, (a little swollen and briused) some ice for me tonight. 46 minutes down.

Wanted to get a gauge on my ability to finish next months Pike Peak Ascent.  Decided it will be gruelling, but doable in about 4:45.  Good news for me calf tolerated very well the incline.

Workout:

  • Type: Run
  • Date: 07/15/2007
  • Total Time: 1:00:00.00
  • Distance: 8 miles
  • Average Pace: 7:30/mile
  • Ascent: 4,000 ft
  • Descent: 4,000 ft

Run or walk? Pretty vague with your post. Goregeous day for it though.

Still getting the hang of using the blog as a way for me to chart what has always gone into my paper logs. Thanks for the encouragement to write!
